Information about Mentoring & Peer Learning

Mentoring and Peer Learning is an interactive process where you, as the client, have the opportunity to explore and highlight opportunities and issues of concern to you under the guidance of a trained and experienced mentor and facilitator. The program assists identifying gaps, unhelpful patterns and contributing factors, underlying causes, and aims are to develop strategies and useful ways in small business management in the aid of business growth and lifestyle goals.

While most clients find mentoring immensely beneficial, success cannot be guaranteed and largely depends on how open you are, how committed you are, how hard you are prepared to work and how committed you are to change. Mentoring and Peer Learning is a process that leads you to look at business challenges, your strengths and characteristics closely and, as such, can have risks associated with it due to the exposure to, at times, difficult issues being explored. These risks may include a wide range of stress and strong emotions, feeling drained. If you experience any of these symptoms at any time, please highlight this at the sessions (these are part of your Arrow in the side of your gut!).

Confidentiality & Records

What you discuss in all interactions is private and confidential. Invest For You do keep administrative records for agenda’s and follow-up notes. As per my professional qualifications I am bound by the Australian Association of Social Work Code of Ethics and current Privacy Legislation. Ask us about our Privacy Policy for more information.

Program Info & Cancellation Policy

Your first consultation is free, this includes the introduction to the Business Growth Program and an in depth business analysis quantitative review

The Business Growth Program is a tailored approach to give you that time to look at what and where FOCUS needs to be and what order action needs to happen for Business Growth. The program includes; Five Interactive Sessions (five x 1.5hr) face to face (in person or skype), this can be scheduled over your desired time period, (ie 5 weeks or 10 weeks …). Each session includes reference and the use of tested business tools and resources, an agenda, review from the previous session including focus of what and priority of recommended action for Your Business Growth.

The program is a total cost of $696 which can be paid in instalments over 4 weeks ($174 per week) from point of registration. Additional hourly rates are negotiable.

A minimum of 24 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A 100% session cancellation fee ($130) applies to cancellations of less than 24 hour notice. Payments may be made by EFTPOS, credit card or cash. All services are GST free and 100% business claimable tax expense.

Audio Recording of Sessions

We will cover a lot in sessions and it is impossible to remember everything that is discussed. In order to ensure your Business gets the most from this program each session will be recorded (audio only). You may request a copy at any time. At the completion of the program all recordings will be deleted.

Stress Management

Small Business is well documented as a very challenging role, especially in regional areas. Whilst your mentor is a qualified Social Worker, this program focuses on your Business yet this may become overwhelming for you and or immediate family.
